Does not fit well nor last in a 2001 Jeep Wrangler
Did not last nor fit well in 2001 Jeep Wrangler HVAC control panel. Replaced all three lights as one original burnt out in this 20 YO jeep. When they would light up they were as bright as the original but after a few months they were on intermittently at best. When installed they did not seem to be holding as tight as the original (should have been my first clue...) and when I went to remove them they all hung up in the mounting holes (bayonet mount seems to be slightly too wide for the mounting hole slots). I needed to jam a pair of fine forceps with teeth into the back of the lamp so I could get a purchase and pull them out. Fortunately did not damage the HVAC panel in the process. The original lamp (MOPAR part# 5013829AA, see photo) has metal contacts on both sides of the bayonet mount that holds the lamp snugly and maintains good electrical contact. The original is discontinued but you can find still New Old Stock on the usual auction sites. Paid the same price for one OEM bulb as 2 generics but worth it to actually have reliable light that I will be able to remove easily in another 20 years.

1st Gen Toyota 4Runner center console bulb replacement
These bulbs fit the center console switches (rear wiper/window washer/window lock) of my 1989 Toyota 4Runner. May also fit in other areas on the vehicle like the a/c +heater control, clutch start cancel button, cruise control, rear defrost button, deck lamp button.

These do fit 2004 Camry the three AC heater knobs right below the radio these are the lights you need to light those up

These were too small for the instrument and hvac cluster on our 2002 Jeep Liberty.
