Still wonderful, since 2022
This is the best purchase ever. This little tree never drops a single needle. It doesn't get brittle and become a fire hazard. It doesn't die and become sad looking. I'm pretty sure the lights are LED, because there's absolutely no heat coming from them. But they're a 100% copy of old fashioned lights. I actually thought they were incandescent until this year. The tree is in a spot where they're next to a hanging curtain light which is LED and multi color. And if I told you the tree had incandescents and that's why it's so golden glowing even though it's also multi color... you'd believe me. Until you touched them and felt no heat. There's no "blue laser beam" effect in pictures. It looks completely normal. And so does the tree. The only way you know it's not real is, there's no spruce smell. But you can get that from an air freshener. Or buy a real wreath from your local fire station, they usually sell trees and wreaths as a fundraiser.I got a standing cover for it so I don't even have to take anything off unless it's fragile. I just move it to a storage spot until next year. It's light enough to carry and not tall enough to hit the ceiling when I walk with it. But the main reason I got this tree is because it's too short to interest my cat. And even if she does go for a climb, if she knocks it down, she won't get hurt much. So now she just hides in the jungle, or so she thinks, under the tree.

Great tree for the $
So when it first comes out of the box you might think “what have I done”! But once you put it together and pull apart, “fluff” the branches I hope you will be as impressed as I am! I have had nothing but live Xmas trees for nearly 40 years and this tree is as beautiful as any one of the live ones we’ve harvested over the decades! It has a natural look and feel and shape! The lights are traditional incandescent with green wires and ugly plugs rather than the fake looking LED you’ll find on today’s way more expensive trees and I’m good with that! And if those lights ever fail I’ll be able to remove them and restring the tree if need be. This tree will be the only tree we will need for the rest of our years on this earth and I’m pleased with the choice I made! This is the 4.5 foot version and it’s a perfect fit on my 3 foot table!

Good quality looks t
Had to buy a new artificial tree this Christmas. Our old one was starting to look “old”.& a string of lights didn’t work anymore. I opted for the smaller size. Put it on a small square table with a cute tree skirt draped around & it was so pretty after ornaments added. Comes pre lit soeasy set up. Easy to store too, not like our last 6’ tall one. I do recommend using a stand otherwise would look to scale. Good quality & value for cost. Less than a fresh tree &Will last seven uears

Glad We Got it!-However...
My husband and I are both Seniors in our 70's. It was getting harder to lug the big Christmas tree up the stairs from the lower level, unpack it and assemble it. After reading some of the reviews on this National Dunhill 4.5 ft. Fir Tree I decided to get it. I got the 4.5 ft one with the multi-lights. It came in a box with two sections, the stand and some extra lights for future use in case any burned out on the tree. It was easy to put together myself with just the stand and two tree parts. Spreading and fluffing out the branches did take some time. I separated and spread the branches without the use of gloves as it was just easier to do so and I did not encounter any problems. However, if you have sensitive skin or there is the potential to get scratched then gloves would be a consideration. On the top half of the tree I would pull the branches down toward the bottom half so there would not be a gap between the two halves of the tree and then spread and fluff them out. When I was finished it really was a full looking nice shaped tree. They weren't skimpy on the lights either, there are plenty of bright multicolored lights on the tree. All the light strings are plugged into each other on the bottom part of the tree, though, which is not very aesthetic looking. I had to hide all the light sockets by having them face a wall. But by the time I decorated the tree with ornaments and put a Christmas tree skirt around it, the tree turned out to be a beautiful, festive seasonal decoration. So, now these Seniors can enjoy a little Christmas too! Oh, just as a side note we do not leave our tree plugged in for long hours at a time (or unattended for long periods of time) just as a precaution to keep things from overheating.

Super full!!!
This tree is absolutely gorgeous!!! Super easy to assemble. Take your time "fluffing" from top to bottom and it will be full! The lights look wonderful! I did add a string of lights that I can control to have some blinking, etc. They matched perfectly with the lights that came on the tree. If you don't care about lights that blink, the tree comes with totally enough lights. We love this tree!!! Highly recommend!!!

Only lasted one season. JUNK
This Christmas Tree was purchased in October 2023 and put up for less than the month of December, only lit at night. It was stored in a giant covered bin in a temperature controlled space. This Christmas it only lit at the very bottom, and no amount of swapping out the bulbs did anything to correct it. I reached out to Amazon who promised, first, that the seller would be in touch with me within 48 hours (they were not) and then that I would get a refund ( I did not) and then that I was "too late". The invoice indicates that refund would have had to be by December 1st of 2023. I find it ridiculous that a pre lit tree only work a single season.
