Peaceful sound!
The media could not be loaded. Ok. I recently went to a Japanese garden and was impressed with the overall beauty and serenity I felt while admiring the surroundings. So, this was my interpretation of what I saw. I ordered the kit with the pump but the pump wasn’t included so about 5 days later after reaching out to the vendor the pump arrived. Directions to me were vague so I went to UTube. Buried my 5 gallon bucket in the hole and first covered with landscaping material that is supposed to accept water. However, it must have directed the water everywhere but the bucket for about 3 hours later I’m filling the bucket back up with water! Btw the pump is difficult to attach to tubing and difficult to dial the flow to a trickle which as you can see hasn’t worked. Overall, I’m happy with the transformation and the price made it worth pursuing. The company did stand behind their product and I can recommend this unit.

The best and only one for a bamboo fountain
This is my third purchase (for the third home), and each one was perfect. In reading the reviews here, I did the installation a bit differently. Dig a hole, put 1/2 foot of the foundation into it, then measure and figure out where you want the water to end up at, by assembling the spout and place the pump in a bowl with water. That way, you can also see if the pump output needs to be adjusted. Once done, I filled the hole with quick setting concrete mix and stabilized it with a couple small bamboo stakes and rope. It give you ample time to make sure it’s level. Filled the remainder with dirt and topped it with weed covering, then pebbles....well, you figured out the rest. Concrete works best in my opinion, as there isn’t a lot of room to maneuver with a stake inside, plus the bamboo will split open over time. If this happens, do it the Japanese way and get some black or red hemp rope and tie it around to stabilize and add a nice coloring touch to it.

Easy to assemble and install - looks fantastic!
I used this for a small existing pond that had a funky looking stone waterfall that needed to be replaced. I removed the waterfall and installed this bamboo spout. When I test mounted it next to the pond, even though it is only three feet high, it looked too big in proportion to the pond. I was going to saw about a foot of it off but my wife talked me into just burying it about ten inches and surrounding it with stones to get it to blend in better. Couldn’t be happier with the results. Installed a blue tooth controlled switch for the pump so I can control it with an app on my cell phone. The photo shown is using my existing pump, not the pump that comes with the spout. Not sure if there is any difference.

Nice Addition to Small and Medium sized Ponds, Waterfalls
I have installed this next to my waterfall, and it drips into the pond area. The size stated is accurate. After burying the bottom part of the bamboo post, you'll end up with approx 24-30" above ground. It makes a pleasing statement of simplicity and style. You'll get the bare and rough bamboo ground post, which is about 4 inches in diameter, an arm made of very smooth 1 1/2" bamboo that reaches almost two feet out from the post, and a bamboo pin to hold the two together in the pre-drilled holes. You cannot misalign the parts if you use the pin and holes. Assembly takes a couple seconds of alignment.A six foot piece of clear vinyl tubing is pre-installed through the ground post and arm, eliminating the need for the frustrating job of trying to drill the center of the post and arm and pulling the tube through yourself. Do not grab the arm and pull it away from the post when unwrapping. Doing so will pull the hose free, and then you get to re-thread it inside the bamboo. The pump is included, and has a rather short cord, so you will need to either get a waterproof extension cord and cover, or install this within a few feet of it's power source. I used a ten foot outdoor cord and covered the connection with one of the waterproof extension cord covers available on Amazon.I'm pleased with the purchase, but did remove one star because it came with no manual at all and no way to contact the manufacturer if the bamboo arrived split or the pump didn't work. A person handy with things can look at the online picture and figure it out, but a manual and warranty contact address for those that have never assembled anything like this would be an easy thing to include.

Design flaws and dont buy the pump
Design flaws cause water flow issues and comes with little to no tubing. The pictures are misleading of how little tubing you get and the pump is underpowered.

Crowning touch for backyard Zen water garden
Super quick and easy installation to my existing pond pump. I slipped the bamboo fountain over a slender gardening stake for added stability (there was just enough room inside the fountain for the tubing and the slender stake). After much consideration I decided not to put fish in my pond. Instead I went with colored glass float balls—added color interest without the constant maintenance of fish.

Beautiful but the pump is a tad bit weak.
When I received this bamboo water spout I was pleasantly surprised. It is much bigger than I pictured. Seems to be very sturdy and looks beautiful. I am using it for a pondless water feature. The only issue I have with it, (and it's not really a big deal for what I'm using it for) is that the pump is almost too weak to pump the water up to where it flows out. You end up getting a very small stream of water coming out. That is fine with me because I don't need a gush of water and if a person wanted more flow, they could use a more powerful pump. It is certainly worth the price for this because of it's beauty. I am happy with it.

good deal.
The spout shipped quickly and arrived undamaged. bamboo is natural colored but not split or discolored. the included pump is too powerful for the 3' height. I simply placed the water tube between two washers and tightened it down with a wingnut. this allows me to control the flow. I like the sound of a soft trickle, not a stallion in a paddock. I carved out a basin in some feather rock (basalt) and put a 20 gallon soft plastic pond basin from Lowes underneath. looks good.
