Why did you pick this product vs others?:These sockets are a life changer! Had a stuck lug nut on my truck and of course, it had a star patterned lug that uses a special socket. The socket stripped and had no way to take it of with. These sockets saved the day. I use them on every stuck bolt now. Glad I bought them.

Repair shop did not return my lug nut key after our last repair and we did not realize until my son had a flat tire that could not be plugged or patched. We were able to remove all the locks using this product but only with a drill. No hand tools that we had would fit it.

This product is as advertised! I used this kit on my 2011 Dodge Charger as those stupid OEM Chrome Plated Lug Nuts are no good and tend to break often. One of my lug nuts was broken and this kit was able to remove that stubborn lug, I also bought the autozone emergency lug nut remover in which did not work, I was skeptical about spending more money as the autozone kit did not work. This surprisingly did the trick the first time I even tried!! Less than 2 minutes. Make sure you hit the socket you are using until it bottoms out which maximizes its grip on the lug and loosen! Worked perfect for me, definitely worth the money! Thank you!

Used on McGard-style locking lugs that we have somehow managed to misplace the key (suspect mechanic didn't replace but who knows). Used the 21mm - fit on perfectly. No need to really hammer the socket on the lug as it self taps. Just lightly tap to secure. Spun off in seconds.Kit contains a rod to use to knock the lug back out of the socket - but even using that, it is extremely difficult. Even with a vise to hod the socket, unless you have the special jaws for round objects. Seems the socket should be milled flat on two sides or have a slight flange to make it easier to hold.If the lock ever shows up, I would probably still be able to reuse the locking lugs as the grooves are very slight - although sharp.

Snapped the 19 mm socket in half on the 5th lugnut we were taking off. No idea if any warranty on tool. Seems to work awesome at task but don't last long material wise.
