TPOB XO’s Clippers
The media could not be loaded. At my shop the say I’m the clipper guru. You name it. I’ve tried em’ all…JRL’sSC-Rebels/Gamma BoostedGamma CyborgsBabyliss FX & LoProsWahl Magics & SeniorsSC Insticts (most expensive/ by far crappiest)The list goes on. For a while I was a sc-rebel guy until I got introduced to the jrl-onyx, which became my favorite. Powerful, smooth, excellent battery life & the rest of all the nice features. Onyx winning clippers of the year for 2023 was no surprise to me.However the TPOB XO’s didn’t release until very late 2023 & I didn’t get my hands on em’ until now. Wow! TPOB is on the come up! These XO’s cut very very similar to the jrl-onyx. Digital Brushless Constant Torque Motor (quite, smooth, yet very powerful). & since I’m comparing them & replacing my Jrl-Onyx for the XO’s it would be a crime if I didn’t say how much nicer they feel in hand! The best! For an all metal body housing they are not to heavy. I don’t necessarily need a feather, but I do prefer my clippers on the lighter side of the scale. The weight on the all metal body XO’s is almost exactly the same as the Onyx all plastic housing. I had to replace the bottom on my onyx housing/shell twice because I cracked it both times just from gripping it to hard. With the XO’s I know I will never have that problem. I’ll take a few extra grams in clipper weight to ensure the durability & longevity of my clippers. The XO also comes stock with the ridged style fade-blade just like the jrl-onyx & the sc-rebels. But it’s more similar to the onyx. When digging with no guard open or closed, it doesn’t catch into the pores of the skin like the sc-rebel does. Which is waaaay nicer & smooth. Simply better cutting technology. You can take down a big area to a .5 or a single-zero without having to tip toe through the tulips to avoid catching into the pores of someone’s skin & causing discomfort, irritation or even nicking them.No guard fully open. The XO has a solid OEM stretch to it. No need for modification/removal of clicks to add a stretch bracket. Also the “clicks” are designed internally like the JRL’s. Again. I keep referring to jrl-onyx. Because to me they were my best until I got these XO’s. No guard, fully open the JRL’s open slightly further. The smallest hair of a stretch more. But if you’re not experienced enough with a keen eye to know what to look for. You will not even notice the difference. & honestly after doing a few cuts with them, even knowing fully open the XO’s are the tiniest hair shorter, it did not affect my cutting style. Didn’t have to make any adjustments to my techniques & methods. Cuts felt just as good if not BETTER! I was still able to skip-guard my half-guard, preform & execute like I normally do. Excellent top tier clipper! I would buy a 2nd one if they weren’t sold out everywhere. Definitely my new go-to. & not to mention the highly anticipated TPOB-Play!!! Man… I’m 100% gonna have to get my paws on them bad boys the second they drop!I’m convinced! Ima TPOB guy now. This guy is on to something big.

Cutting Corners and Hairlines: The TPOB Brushless Clippers Disaster
Alright, gather 'round, folks, because I’ve got a tale of woe and disappointment for you. So I decided to get fancy and bought these TPOB brushless hair clippers. Yeah, "brushless"—sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, right? Well, spoiler alert: these clippers are less "Star Wars" and more "The Phantom Menace."First of all, the "brushless" part is just a fancy way of saying "completely useless." These things have about as much cutting power as a rusty butter knife. I tried trimming my beard, and I swear it looked like I'd used a weed whacker on it. One side’s patchy, the other side’s uneven, and the whole thing looks like a middle school art project gone wrong. I’m talking about the kind of uneven that makes you question every decision you've ever made in life—starting with why you bought these clippers. And the sound these things make? Oh man, it’s like a dying lawnmower crossed with a swarm of angry bees. Not only does it sound like it’s about to explode, but it also scared the crap out of my dog. Now every time I reach for them, he looks at me like I’m holding a tiny chainsaw. Then there’s the battery life. Or should I say, "lack thereof." These clippers die faster than a low-budget horror movie victim. I charged them up, ready to get my grooming on, and five minutes in, they just… gave up. Just like that. Mid-shave. So there I was, one side of my face smooth, the other side looking like a woolly mammoth. And don’t even get me started on the attachments. I’m pretty sure they’re made out of recycled plastic forks. They snap on like they’re held together with hope and a prayer, and if you look at them wrong, they break. I’m not saying I’m clumsy, but I’ve had potato chips last longer than these things. So, in conclusion, if you’re in the market for clippers that’ll leave you looking like you lost a fight with a rabid raccoon, the TPOB brushless clippers are just the ticket. But if you actually care about how you look, do yourself a favor and stick to something that doesn't sound like it's powered by AAA batteries and bad decisions.

Don’t buy into negative brand loyalists..
I’ve been doing hair for over 30 yrs and have tried all brands of clippers, corded and non. I was really hesitant on giving TPOB a shot but for every bad review or video I watched.. 2 amazing ones would pop up and.. they are considerably less expensive than the others that are somewhat in their tier of the XO’s .. so I decided to give em a chance…. AND, this may come across hyperbolic but I genuinely mean this after a day of using them.. they are easily the best clipper/trimmer I’ve used.. I’ve never been this impressed out of the box.. corded or not, clippers usually take some dialing in.. but these were balls out after giving them a lil charge and they are more powerful and miles sharper than my corded Wahl Seniors! I don’t know how well they’ll “wear” over time but.. to be this blown away after 30 plus years .. I never realized I was settling for mediocre.I still don’t know a lot about the creator or the company other than it stands for “The Pissed Off Barber” and it appears that it’s a Euro company.. I say that to say, I am in no way getting anything out of this review.. and I never leave reviews.. but I felt it necessary.. 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️And the color… forget about it.. just add to cart and experience it…
