Fantastic, mt farther has a slow digestion problem....well not anymore he doesn't thanks to these supplements, he takes one before a meal and one after and it really helps him digest much faster.

The first thing I had to ask myself about this supplement is what is betaine hydrochloride and would I want it in a high strength dosage? The answer to the first part of the question is that betaine hcl is a synthetic form of betaine which plays various vital roles in maintaining overall bodily health, including helping with digestion, and the second part is that I may need a higher strength where gas and bloating are a problem, but otherwise as a general digestive assurance and to aid possible better nutrient absorption, lesser amounts may suffice. As such, instead of taking the recommended three-capsules-per-day I would likely only take one instead to supplement naturally-occurring betaine found in certain foods. Saying that, how many of us regularly eat the healthful foods that contain betaine, especially with a hectic modern lifestyle where it’s easy to skip quality meals? Also, as betaine hcl seemingly helps with high sugar intake it may be of benefit to quite a lot of people.If planning to try betaine hcl then this is probably a reasonable choice, as the manufacturer is one I’ve had supplements from before and seems to be quite good, the supplement is manufactured to GMP standards, is non-GMO, and for the price and amount seems to be a decent buy.

I’m using Betaine HCl 500mg capsules to increase my stomach acid for better digestion. Following the HCL protocol, I start with one capsule and gradually increase the dosage by one capsule each meal until I feel a mild burning sensation, which indicates I’ve reached the right level of stomach acid. Currently, I’m taking up to 8 capsules with a heavy protein meal and eventually plan to taper down. This approach helps me determine the right dosage for effective digestion.Tablets are soft, and a decent size and easy to swallow.

HCL which stands for hydrochloric acid is definitely not for everyone & before you decide to plunge in, if you aren’t already cleared as a suitable candidate for this supplement please, please, please do your research first because there are many reasons to give it a wide berth. This is one where you really do need to take full responsibility for your own health first & I wouldn’t rely on online video gurus to tell you what’s what.That stated as strongly as I can, if you do use this successfully then this is a very well priced one for 120 capsules.The caps are a decent size, taste & flavour free, although you definitely want to swallow this whole with a glass of water without it disintegrating in your mouth. Remember what Hcl does in your stomach, you don’t want that starting in your mouth.Taken just before a meal, these vegan cap have no fillers or other junk in them so you can satisfy your conscience if you’re particular about that sort of thing.I like that the company is British so the standards are high & checkable.The caps come in a flat pack plastic container that’s easy to store.Purchased 30 June 2024Long expiry dateRecommend

Betaine is a fairly uncommon supplement, but if you know the benefits then this is a pretty good option..There are 120 capsules in the container, and the recommendations is to take one with each meal so they're going to last maybe 6 weeks at most, but at the asking price they're pretty good value for money. They are standard size capsules which are tasteless and easy to swallow, with the added benefit of being vegan friendly.Too early to know if there are any real benefits but confidence is quite high in the quality so far!

For 120 capsules these are excellent value. They are a good strength and they are pure with no added fillers that can sometimes upset the stomach. Overall they are a good brand to buy.

I took one of these, they made me feel strange - all i could taste was salt for the rest of the day. If your used to this product it might be ok. Just be careful if you've not taken before
