I work a lot outside and because I'm getting up in age, I find my joints are now starting to tell on me. I've already been supplementing with collagen.This is actually a good sized double sealed container which contained 129 servings in powder form. It came with a measuring scoop with a really nice long handle so no getting powder everywhere trying to fit your hand into this container which I appreciate. The powder does have a taste and smell, both of which is really not distinguishable. I almost want to say fishy, but not really. It's really faint, but just barely notable but not offensive. I mixed this up in water to gauge the flavor and used an electric whisk. It mixed up perfectly with no residue or grit. Flavor wise, almost none. Mixed in a shake you would not notice it and it wasn't bad in water. I appreciate that this is 3rd party tested and manufactured in a good manufacturing practice certified facility in the United States. Zen Principle looks like a really decent company with multiple social media presences and many well rated products which makes me feel better about this supplement. At the time I received this it had over a 2 year shelf life as well.All in all, no complaints. With the really no distinguishable taste and smell coupled with the easy good mixing ability, this supplement is really a great plus when wanting to mix collagen into your shakes and proteins. For me, at the present price of $44.97, it's cheaper than my pill supplement form and much easier to take than the horse pills I have been using. I'm a fan.

I got this because I take Collagen and MSM for my skin health. We normally start losing our collagen about our late 20s and that usually starts showing sooner or later. It's the most abundant part of our skin so it's easy imo to see how that plays out when we lose enough of it. Thankfully it's thought by supplementing with it we may be able to offset that loss possibly but I have found it's an extremely slow process. Like watching cactuses grow imo. However after about 10 years of it I am very very happy with what I have noticed and the positive difference it has made. It's thought by some, myself included that marine (fish) collagen works best for facial skin possibly. I prefer it and like it in my mix. It sometimes along with eggshell collagen is a bit pricey since many like it imo for possible skin benefits. It's a type 1 collagen. There are other collagens and at the time of this review this product is supposed to have some others but I currently only see right now in my product, only fish listed in the ingredients which I'm fine with. I have plenty of the other cheaper bovine collagen type 1 and 3 to mix with this. I took for a long time about 10 grams of collagen daily but as my age has crept up, I moved my goal now to at least 15 grams. With one scoop this is listing 3.5 grams total with 2.5 grams of that being the collagen. You can see on my scale my 50 gram test weight comes in at 49.96 so very close. I tared the scooper weight out and it came to 4.35 grams which imo is very impressive. Due to 'fluffing' as I call it, via shipping I almost always see less weight but this came in more with mine. So this will work great adding to my existing regimen and allowing me to cut back a little on my other collagen and get more of this marine collagen which I am all smiles about. I am also all smiles about the MSM added to this especially since they used the optiMSM patented form. That's what I use as I think it's the best MSM because of the effort they put in their purity imo. MSM is sulfur based and that plays an important role in collagen production and how it works to make skin possibly. I personally notice MSM makes my breast and skin look better and because of that I take at least 3 grams daily sometimes more. So I'm super happy this blend allows me more. If you are new to collagen, along with a healthy diet and possibly other supplements you may notice positive changes in three to 6 months imo. This blend is supposed to be third party tested but I'm not sure if that's the same as third party 'lab' testing. I also notice that non-GMO ingredients were used which is what I prefer as I think they work better. This is from a small business which I love to support. Thankfully this had no taste the way I like it and mixed perfectly in my coffee. I had no sides with this and really happy to be getting more type 1 marine collagen and a good brand MSM imo with each serving. Good Luck and I Hope this was Helpful.

My skin has been starting to show the wear and tear of life, so instead of using a ton of topical "solutions", I figured I would start with adding an internal solution. When I saw this supplement, I figured I would give it a try. I didn't know too much about Marine Collagen, so it has been interesting to read up on.I have been using it on and off for about a month. I need to get better about making this a more consistent part of my daily routine. BUT having said that, I have see some texture improvements to my skin. It has smoothed out ever so slightly, so I am hopeful it will continue to make some further improvements over time.The container is huge and comes with a generous amount of the supplement. I love that it comes with a measuring spoon that is narrow so that I can pour the supplement directly into my bottle of water. I pour it in, replace the cap, shake it a bit and I know I am going to easily finish off that bottle of water.The taste is not horrible and is easily masked if it is placed in something that has its own flavors.I recommend this.Note: While I test products for Amazon, I only provide completely honest reviews based on my experience with the item - the good, the bad, and the ugly, as appropriate.

I know this stuff is good for me, and I have actually felt the effects of since starting to take it each day. my movements are just smoother and my knees pop less and dont ache as much as they used to. The reason why I gave it only 3 stars is because of a couple reasons. first is because its just boring, no taste no color or anything. its like drinking slightly thick water. I would prefer it have some sort of flavor to it and some sort of coloring. my second reason is the price, its overpriced for what it is in my opinion.

This is high quality collagen that includes types I, II, III, and IV. It has a little bitter taste due to the sulfur in the MSM but that is what makes it highly absorbable. There are 129 servings in this package, so it lasts a long time. I have noticed less wrinkles since starting this. A great addition to my supplements.
