Great controller

Proper steam input support really good. Connection and everything is fine. One of the negative reviews clearly accidently put it in xinput mode where it works wired only. (Check the slider on the back and switch to SteamInput!) Also recommend switching the trigger also.No rumble is great. Terrible feature that should have died in 1997 with Star Fox 64. Controller is light but stating this means low quality is just plain wrong and unfair. Some might find the trigger travel too short and the analogy sticks took a little getting used to as they're flat. More like the steam deck than the Xbox or PS concave set ups. Battery lasts about 5 hours wireless. Back buttons feel great. The two front macro buttons are a little awkward but great for putting low priority hotkeys on, like map / inventory. The controller works best with games which allow dynamic switching between controller and keyboard. You get true customisability there instead of XInputs ancient 'duplicate a button'.As I do t play racing games I can't comment for how the triggers feel for those. The sort travel might be a deal-breaker for some? Not sure!Tempted to get a 2nd. Maybe not for everyone, but it's certainly for me.

Good connection, terrible battery

I was surprised how good it was in wireless/Bluetooth mode over a large distance and had very little to no lag paired with the Steam Deck in Docked mode. However it only took a charge once. I left it in wired mode to charge and the red charging symbol never turned off. Now when turning it on unplugged, it lasts for less than a second.Update: requested refund, device is absolutely useless, won't charge and/or stay on any longer than a second.

It's Okay

For the first third-party, dedicated Steam Controller... It's very light and comfortable, and it's nice to be able to configure every last button through Steam Input. It honestly works better wired than via bluetooth or the dongle. Triggers and shoulder buttons are a little awkwardly designed - there's not much pull on the triggers as with other controllers, making pressure-sensitive use almost impossible, and the shoulder buttons are very shallow. An okay gamepad, but room for improvement.

Good, but not great

This controller is a mixed bag. I think for £50, there are better gamepads out there. But I think for many people this pad will be fine. The good:- this is a controller for Steam, so all the buttons are mappable using Steam Input, which is pretty good as normally back paddles on controllers require a separate app and don’t have per-game settings- capacitive sticks enabling gyro, which is a game changer for some titles- solid sticks that have a nice feel of resistance to them, but I don’t think they’re Hall effect which may put some people off- access to the Quick Access Menu, which is great if you’re using this with a Steam DeckThe not so good:- if you like rumble/haptics, this pad doesn’t have any- the lack of haptics also makes the pad light… too light, I’d argue, and some have said it feels kind of “cheap” because of it- the wireless sync button and Quick Access Menu button are where I think the Start and Select buttons should be, so I keep getting them mixed up- no Hall effect sticks or triggers, and speaking of those…- the triggers technically support analogue input, but because it’s not a spring loaded trigger but instead a pressure sensitive button (like the PS2/3 face buttons) the travel is so slight that it’s hard to use for that purpose, so I don’t recommend this gamepad for racing games or anything else that requires the full analogue range of the triggersI think at £30 this would be a solid controller. At £50, I think you have to really want capacitive stick gyro for this to be worth it.

Awesome controller

Ignore the negative perception that everyone is giving this. It's not as light as people make out.Feels really nice to hold and it also definitely feels premium.Works great with the steam deck especially in docked modeAnd the ability to create your own configuration and use the many created community inputs make it suitable for any player. It's perfectly aligned for use with pc gaming also and works like a dream with steam.Would absolutely recommend for anyone on the fence or maybe thinking about getting one.No rumble but I generally don't care about that the gyro input is a game changer. The trigger buttons have a lovely tactile feel and work great for fps games.Awesome controller.

Wouldn't recommend

It doesn't work with every game and the ones it does sometimes the buttons don't work.

Overpriced - minimal quality

Hello everyone. When ordering this gamepad, I was guided by compatibility with Steam Deck, so that I could play on a big screen via the docking station. I haven't had time to evaluate the device's operation yet (but I might add to my review later), but for the materials of the gamepad itself, this terribly cheap, creaky plastic, I give you - 1 star, selling it for 60 euros is a complete failure.I am very upset with this purchase and do not recommend buying it for this price.Thank you all.
