Arrived full of flower buds
The bush is just a baby. However the bush, in my opinion is more developed than a foliage free bagged rosebush, with just the roots and a thorn base. I was happy to see a bloom open approximately a week after planting. It was loaded with buds, upon arriving. I wanted to stop order, and tried. It was sent anyway. I guess it was meant to be.

Great mother's day gift
I always give flowers but my mom moved to Seattle while I was left on the East Coast. Sending cut flowers just wasn't in my budget. She loves gardening so these live 1 gal. roses were the perfect fit. They did take about 10 days to arrive from purchase to door but I expected that for a living plant as they have special shipping requirements. The plant arrived the day before scheduled time so it worked out perfectly. The plant was in 90% great condition, just a little droopy from the trip. It did perk up within a couple hours of being watered and a week later she says it's already re-blooming.The roses right now don't look very "double" but I'm hoping with new buds we will see that. Perhaps some petals fell off in shipping. Either way it's a healthy rose, good size plant and value for what I got. My mom sent these photos and she's happy so I am too.

Horrible
Mine is already dead. It looks likes a mini tree. With no roses popping up.

Beautiful, sturdy plant..
...as in can withstand the crazy shifts in weather. Has withstood 30°F drop in temperature, torrential rains at times (6 inches in a little over an hour one day), even some pea size hail. I thought for sure it would be a goner, but it keeps surviving these harsh New England conditions. FYI my roses are planted in a whiskey barrel on top of rock, so it has proper drainage. Beautiful, colorful, very lightly scented (I'm sensitive to smell), quite pleasant. So happy, I've gotten lots of flowers off this plant. I cut and dry them for varying uses. Very pleased.
