BETTER THAN EXPECTED - SO INTUITIVE :)
Originally upon setting out to buy a second Samsung in addition to the one that we have in another room, I was looking at the tv's on Amazon and that other store (W*lmart). Over the course of a couple of days, upon comparing tv's, and reading reviews, I decided to do the "why not, let's try this tv". - Add to cart, submit purchase and confirmation of delivery came upon my screen and buyer's remorse kicked in. I felt like maybe I should have just bought a Samsung as originally planned...Two days later, we received the new Roku tv. My daughter and I took it out of the box (I needed some assistance as it was having a "suction" effect with the styrofoam packaging). Then, I took it from there. I removed all the papers and screwed in the feet/stands (those were a bit "awkward" to screw in - just didn't seem to be very flush, however, it worked out nonetheless).I stood the tv up and placed it on the space of our entertainment center where the tv goes - did I mention that it's light too! :)My daughter had removed the piece from the remote control that says to remove in the instructions and if I haven't seen it all myself : the wifi was easily configured, went to the home page and had all out apps on the home page, including the Prime app!I did have to add the MLB on there myself, but no big deal at all.Beautiful picture, clear and crisp sound and the remote even has the popular presets like Prime, Netflix, Hulu...The intuitiveness of this tv is remarkable and just so WONDERFUL - especially in this technological day in age of where everything is supposed to be so much easier, when, in fact, it's just seems to be getting more difficult to do the simplest of tasks these days!!!!So far we have it a couple of weeks and really loving it! It gives our Samsung a run for the money - well, actually it literally does since the Samsung was so much more money and for less offerings.I would definitely recommend this television and would even purchase it again and without "fear" (Lol) this time.It has fun backgrounds too and a nice preset screensaver. For the money, this 50" tv is a lot bigger than it's size hands down, with it's simplicity of set up, operation and for just plain ole watching tv!!!Have to say that this Roku has made tv fun again!!!

All Of The The Japanese Television Manufacturers Are All Screwed
Sony, Panasonic and Samsung are all screwed because this tv will do everything for half the price that theirs will do for much more money. This tv's 4k picture is comparable to Sony, Panasonic and Samsung. The audio output from this tv is adequate, but considering you're only paying $250 to $300, spend a few extra bucks for a soundbar or some good computer speakers. I mainly use this tv as a computer monitor by having connected a computer to it via HDMI cables and I've had zero problems. Another cool thing is the remote control. If you get the Roku app, you can use your phone as a remote control and give it verbal orders. There's also another underrated thing that makes this tv easier to install. It only weighs 20 lbs. versus at least 40 lbs. for any Sony, Panasonic or Samsung tv. Considering a $250 to $300 price, whenever it fails, I'll buy another one. This is why Sony, Panasonic and Samsung are all screwed. The monopoly that Japanese companies and Samsung had over the high end tv market is now over.

Love this TV
This is a great TV. It was very easy to set up since I already had a Roku account with the TV I replaced. It probably took around 15 -20 minutes to get all my "continue watching" shows loaded onto the new TV. I like only having to use one remote. I live in a building with an antenna on the roof, and so get all the local stations. I appreciate that the remote has a guide button so I can check what's on without looking on the internet. You can also use voice control. It has a really good picture. Roku has tons of free stuff. I would definitely buy this TV again.

A No-Brainer
Easy setup. Great picture (recommend 'Normal' brightness) right out of the box. The built in Roku element is very handy (if you're a Roku user). One note. If your TV is not recognizing a DVD player, speakers, etc., unplug the HDMI cable, make sure the component is powered up, then reconnect the HDMI. The TV then recognizes it.This is my first 'big' TV, 55 inches. Really pleased with it. As I said, great picture, great color balance and sounds decent enough to use without a soundbar. That said, a Roku soundbar made our TV sound that much better.

Great TV, a Steal for the Price!
Outstanding quality of picture and sound! We worried we’d have to subscribe to something to make it work, but we didn’t. You certainly can get your subscription services on there, but we don’t use anything besides YouTube when we use it, so it’s not a requirement. We are so happy we got this product, and we feel like we’re getting the quality of something >$100 ! The colors are amazing and we have never had a single problem with connectivity or apps or anything. The find the remote button on the bottom is a great touch, and it gets a serious workout at our house! Highly recommend!

Got this for my Aunts
They were coming off a very low end Samsung TV which was slow and the controller was broken in half.I used to own a Roku TV so I went with this one for themThe TV is great! Picture is clear, colors are fine. It's a very good standard TV, nothing fancy.Of course, being an LED tv, the color reproduction and black levels while not great, are good enough, at least compared to an OLED.My aunts are very happy with the TV

Love this TV?
The Roku Smart TV 2025 – 55-Inch Select Series delivers stunning 4K HDR picture quality and a smooth, user-friendly streaming experience. Setup was easy overall, and the built-in Roku interface makes accessing all my favorite apps a breeze. The only small hiccup was that the provided screws for the TV feet didn’t fit, but I had spares on hand, so it was a quick fix.Ask ChatGPT

Worth the Money
I had problems with other new Roku non brand TV's. It is worth the money to go ahead and buy the Roku brand. The picture and sound is great. The quality and color are great and the remote works well. We are pleased with the Roku brand and the picture quality is great and it does not get inside cracks like the non brands do.
